Olivia de Ilavilland has been assigned to the feminine lead opposite Brian Aherne in 44 The Great Garrick." Katharine Cornell, the American actress, has bought a new drama, 44 The Ivory Door,” by Dr. Gustav Eckstein, with which she hopes to open her world tour (including New Zealand) next year. John Gielgud, whose 44 Hamlet ” was acclaimed in London and New York, hopes to be able to fulfil a longcherised wish to play Macbetli in the West End next autumn.
