EIGHT OVER THE AIR. AN AMBITIOUS UNDERTAKING. Claimed to be the first major radio production of Shakespeare’s plays with world-famous stars, the Columbia Broadcasting System of America announce a cycle of eight of the' plays to be given during July and August. The plays, including “ Hamlet,” “ Macbeth,” " Lear,” “ Twelfth Night,” “As You Like It,” “Taming of the Shrew,” “ Henry 1V.,” and “ Much Ado About Nothing.” will be broadcast weekly in a scries of eight one-hour productions. A large symphony orchestra will supply musical backgrounds.
