One night a farmer met a young man walking down the road with a lantern, and asked him where he was going. "Courtin’," said the young man. “Courtin’ with a lantern?’’ BAid the farmer. "I never took a lantern when I went courtin’.” "Yeah,’’ replied the young man, “and look what you got."
