CONSTRUCTION OF RAMP. FLOWER BEDS TO BE PLANTED. The construction of a sloping ramp the full extent of the inside enclosure and extending out over a substantial length of the outside is proceeding satisfactorily at Te Rapa and patrons will be assured of better facilities for watching the various events at the Waikato Racing Club’s next gathering at headquarters. j \ flower plot, six chains in length and six feed wide, is being prepared in the enclosure against the rails and when planted with suitable dowers and shrubs will add considerably to the general appearance of the club’s propertv. Roses have been planted in | a corner of the birdcage and these should add further to the general effect. Behind the official stand a number of flower beds have been laid down.
