The New Zealand hockey team today defeated the Tweed Hockey Association's representatives at Murwillumbah by 10 goals to one. New Zealand led by six goals to nil at half-time. The scorers for New Zealand \v£re Roughton (5), Burtt (3), Day and Watson.
L. T. J. Monteith, of Papatoetoe, Auckland, member of the New Zealand hockey team, has been sent to Brisbane for special hospital treatment for an injured leg.
