temper who meets and loves a man who prefers fighting
to eating, are the elements which make up the story of " The Bride Comes Home,” Claudette Colbert's latest picture for Paramount. Miss Colbert is teamed with Fred Mac'Murray, whilst Robert Young also plays a prominent part as a male admirer. It is a thoroughly amusing story, skilfully presented and acclaimed as one of the smartest comedy romances of the current entertainment season. In a day when it is difficult to get away from' the patterned story, this tale of a boy and girl who can't spend five min-
utcs together without fighting, yet who find they can’t stay away from each other, is as refreshing as a spring breeze. *’ The Bride Comes Home” could not have been better cast. Lovely Miss Colbert is superb as the society girl whose father has
lost all his money, and who decides to get work, whilst Fred Mac Murray is grind as the hard-boiled newspaper man, who turns magazine editor and finds Miss Colbert working as his assistant. Robert Young, too, gives a polished performance as a young attractive millionaire and a childhood sweetheart of Claudette’s. “ The Bride Comes Home” Is set for early release throughout the principal centres of the Dominion.
