PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
HUN'I‘LY CHARGE. INDUCTION ARRANGED. At a meeting of the Waikato Presbytery held in‘ Hamilton yesterday under the presidency of the Rev. B. J. Grimlhs. the clerk (Rev. J. Haslop) reported on behalf of the committee set up to consider the plans for the manse at Huntly. This showed that an agreement had been reached on the plans for the proposed new building and it was intended to put the work in hand immediately. One point had since been raised. and it, was expected that this would be satisfactorily adjusted. The new manse, which it is hoped will be opened without any increase in the debt on the charge, will be ready for occupation in about three months‘ time, and in the meantime a house has been secured for the accommodation of the new minister. All things being new in order the appointment of the Rev. J. J. Heard to the Charge for a term of three years was confirmed, and the induction tlxed for Thursday, June 11 in the lluntly Church, the Moderator to preside, the Rev. K. \\'. McKinney to urearh, and Rev. J. H. Lithurn to deliver the customary address to minister and congregaiion.
