WINTER SHOW bLAbOiV. CLOSING CEREMONY TO-NIGH'I'. ...—... BIG CRO\VDS YESTERDAY. After a record season extending over eight clays and eight nights. the thirtieth annual \Vaikato Winter Show will conclude this evening. Not for many years has the show been favoured with such ideal weather as that experienced this year, and this fact has contributed largely to the success of the exhibition. The show was again packed with \‘lsilOl‘S throughout yesterday, the crowds including a large number of children from schools in the Kawhia, Raglan. Upai‘au, Ngatea and Tauplri districts. One of the major attractions was the poultry show, which was opened in the afternoon with an entry or over 400 birds. An interesting programme has been arranged for the closing ceremony this evening, a feature being the appearance of Miss Ana Hate. the famous .\laori soprano, who will sing in the Bledisloe Hall at 8.30 p.m. A practically continuous programme will be provided in the hall until the 0105in function at 10.80 p.m. This afternoon, the Hamilton Technical High School orchestra. will play. _______ .
