CHARGE OF INTOXIOATION. 1 PROHIBITION ORDER BREACH. } ‘ Pleading guilty to charges of being intoxicated in Hood Street and of procuring liquor during the currency of a. prohibition order, George Donald—son, aged 35 years, a relief worker. of Otorohanga. appeared in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court before Mr :. L. Paterson. 5.3 L, yesterday, Sergeant 'l‘. Kelly prlained that defendant was picked up in Moon Strert at 2.1.3 p.m. last Saturday and was taken to the police station where, on being examined by a doctor, it “as found he was >ut't'ering from concus—sion. lie was taken to the \\'aikato Hospital for two days and owed Bis 6d for medical expenses. Defendant had taken out a prohibition orrler against himself in Auckland last January. Defendant explained that he had come into town and had two whiskeys. He must have fallen over and injured his head. 0n the intoxication charge Donaldson was romii‘tod aurl ordered to pay the modicnl rxpi‘nsos and on the other charge ho. was fined £2 with vosts 35. in default.
