STOP PRESS NEWS 3UDGE7 LEAKAGE. FINDING OF TRIBUNAL. LONDON, June 2. Tho tribunal that inquired into the leakaqe of information regarding the Budget, found that there was an unauthorised disclosure by Mr J. H. Thomas to Sir Alfred Butt, of information relating to the Budget for the present year, and that use was made of it by Sir Alfred Butt for private gain. There was no leakage from Civil servants or printers. The same observations apply to all members of the Cabinet save IVIr Thomas. PENALTY OF CRIME. PRISONERS SENTENCED. HAMILTON SUPREME COURT. The following sentences were imposed by Mr Justice Fair on prisoners found guilty during the week in the Supreme Court this morning: Mate Maihana Kingi, aged 24, a farm hand, six months’ hard labour, for attemhptod rape. Donald Armstrong, aged 23 years, carpenter, two years’ hard labour and three months’ imprisonment, on two charges of theft, the sentences to be cumulative. Roy Vincent Clarke, aged 23 years, carpenter, two years’ hard labour, for theft. Richard Perry, aged 25 years, six months’ hard labour for mischief and attempted false pretences. Kenneth Peck ham, aged 28 years, fined £2O and released on probation for two years for theft, assault and causing actual bodily harm. Whare Wa'karc, aged 21 years, six months’ hard labour, for theft from a duelling. Charles Mathew Hutchinson, 18 months’ hard labour, for bigamy. Leslie Reay Grogan, one month’s hard labour and a fine of £IOO and tEsqualification from holding & driving license for four years, for negligently driving a car causing death.
