RAIL-CAR IN SERVICE.— The first motor rail—car built at the Hutt Railway Workshops had its trial run on Saturday, the above photograph being taken as it left petone Rallway Station. On Right, Mr G. H. Mackley, General Manager (facing camera), and leading members of the Railway staff, on the platform at Petone just before the rail-car set out for Upper Hutt.
