Tuesday. \thie negotiating a. very steep sharp bend on the Raglan road at Waitetuna last evening. a motor lorry laden with furniture, and carrying {our passengers. overturned, and came to rest on its back. The driver. Mr “'ll— Graham John. aged 33‘ carrier, or Maiamata, received head injuriesl necessltnting his admission in the \Valhalo Hospital. \\herc his condition \\‘as Pupoi't‘ld 20-day to be fairly serious. None of the other passengers on me lorry was injured, one man who was riding on top of the which: experienc_ ing a remarkable escape in being thrown clear as the lorry overturned. :2:
