MONTHLY SOCIAL HELD. | A further successful function of the J Jrmingham and Midland Counties As- J oolation was held last evening in the Toorak Hall. There was a good at- j tendance, the president, Mr J. T. Reid, 1 presiding. Included in the correspondence was | an interesting letter from a former { • mcer of the association, Mr H. Gadd, who with Mrs Gadd, is en route to England. The writer expressed his best wishes for the welfare of the sooiety. Three members of the committee were replaced, In accordance with the constitution, the new appointees being Mesdames F. Waters, W. Fenton, J. Renolff, Messrs W. Fenson and R. Newman. The matter of holding a card evening, In addition to the monthly social, was left In abeyance. The evening concluded with dancing. i
