SPECIAL FORECAST. (By Govt. Meteorologist.) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WaikatoThames Valley is as follows: Forecast: Light to moderate southerly winds. Weather fair to tine. Seas slight to moderate. General Inference: An anticyclone covering New Zealand has again intensified, and is centred to-day over eastern Otago. A depression is still located over south-eastern Australia, but has become shallower.
