HAMILTON HARRIERS.
NOVICE RACE RESULTS. The Hamilton Harrier Club’s annual race for novices which was held last Saturday attracted the largest fluid for the contest since the club’s inception, the' course of approximately three miles being covered by 28 runners. The race resulted in a decisivzs victory for one of the limit men, H. Primrose, who practically led the field over the entire course to win comfortably of! a 8 minute 5 sec. handlcep. Second plqce was annexed by T. Dowd, who performed credit-bl)? off 2min. 35sec. B. Flblinf pfi’ Imin. 5559 c. mark rah well to ill the third position. It‘is interestin€ to. note that these three men are :11 first sea.son runners. The fastest time of the day, 14min. 585%., was returned by E. P. Hensball, with J. Armstrong next at £5 min. 185%., J. Gardener filling third place with 15min. 425ec.
