Suggestions of foul play have been made concerning the disappearance of Arnold Baynes (43). organiser of the Licensed Seamen‘s Association, which was formed to protect the interests of the volunteer seamen who were ongaged during the recent shipping strike. Bayncs, who has been missing since May it. has been assaulted on a numiner 0! occasions because of his asso—ciation with the Licensed Seaman's As—sociation. _—
