During the past few weeks we have held our usual weekly parades on \Vodnesday eveninrs, as well as special meetings on Saturdays for games, etc. The AtSJI. took the lust weekly parade and started us oil’ with Kim's game, following this up with Scout Pace taste i Some of the boys passed] these tests thus completing their Second] Class work, and bringing the number or' Second Class Scouts up to a dozen. The Saturday prior to this, we had a hike, when some or the tests were also passed. That day, the SM. introduced several new Scouting games. For the last month or so. a regular feature of our meetings has been a series of talks by the Sm. on his experiences in‘ the Navy during the war. After the tribe singing “Brothers Draw Nigh,” they acted the Battle of Orakau. Maori stick games and the Canoe Song were also practised, making in all, a very Jolly meeting. 1

August 7. i 920. dur—ing the memorable closing scenes or the Great international Jamboree held at Olympia, London. at that time. in the New Year's Honour List or 1921 the Chief Scout was created a Baronet; and in the 1927 Birthday Honours List he received further honours from King George. in 1030 the Chief was created a Baron by His Majesty the King. Lord and Lady Baden-Powell have one son. Peter, and two daughters—Heather and Betty. The Chief is an author of merit; an artist whose work is accurate to the minutest detail and one or the nation's greatest soldiers. lie has exhibited sculpture in the Royal Academy and has earned renown at polo. his game hunting and many other forms of sport. That the Chief Scout may long be spared to inspire and guide us is the earnest wish of his loyal and Iflectionate Scouts. 1‘
