INDECENT DOCUMENTS.
CIRCULATING IN CITY. FINE or £25 IMPOSED. (By Telegrnn-h —‘Pm-.~xe Assnclnunn.) WELLINGTON. Friday. Herbert Cyril Bayne and Norman Charles Fox were charged to-day with being found in possession of indecent documents for sale. Fox, it was stated, was proprietor of the National’ Sales Company. and Bayne was employed as a salesman of pamphlets and postcards, which were the articles complained of. The Magistrate remarked on the fact that quite a number were circu~ lating in \Velling‘ton and it, spoke poorly for the men of the city. Bayne was fined £25 with costs with the direction that in the event of the fines not being paid the maximum term of impirsonment would be imposed. ‘
