NEW ZEALAND’S CASE
MR JORDAN FOR GENEVA. —ai_ IV-ILEGTION IN MINUKAU. (By Telegraph—Press Assoeiation.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Prime Minister, Mr Savage. announced to-day that Mr \V. .1. Jordan, the lush Commissioner— Uesisnate. will represent New Zeaiund on the Council or the League at Nations. He will be leaving shortly for Geneva, and as it is desirable that the New Zealand representative should be able to state New Zeeland‘s case at the League table. Mr Jordan will probably be accompanied by an expert stall. Hll departure will mean a by-elec—-tion in .\lauukau in July or early August. Mr Savage added that it was not intended to curtail Slr James Parr's term as High Commissioner. Mr Jordan was going to Geneva. as it did not seem possible to send a Cabinet Minister for the September meeting.
