A compulsory reduction in the rates for Alberta bonds, including savings certificates, to 2! per cent., which will take effect on Juno 1. is announced by the Provincial 'l'reasurer. Mr Charles Liorkrul't. The reduction will save 3,000,000 dollars annually. Authority for the action is given as under the Treasury Bill legislation.
