SEAT FOR NEW lIALAND. SUPPORT FOR ITS CANDIDATURE. United Press Assn—Else. Tel. copyright. LONDON. May 26. Britain and all the Dominions except the Irish Free State, which has not yet replied to soundings, have undertaken to support New Zealand's candidature for the seat on the League at Nations Council which Australia \‘acates in September. Copyright. The Prime Minister explained that New Zeaiand was prohibited under the regulations from permitting loans to Italy or from issuing credits. 'The ex—port of goods to Italy was prohibited. and the export of arms ammunition and other implements or war. The resulatlons also gene the Governor-(ion—-eral power by Order-in—Council to prohibit the export of general goods to ltuly. The Bill covered everything. for when {department of State closed the doors it was not likely to leave any windows open. The whole matter would be reviewed by the League on June 16.__
