FAREWELL EVENING.

MAGILL. i _— l HAPPY TIME SPENT. 1 About 40 students of the Myra Booth Studio were present in the studio on Friday evening at supper and a social hour to bid farewell to a. popular member of the studio, Mr Graham Magill, who will sail for England on June 6. In asking Mr Magill to accept a suitcase and travelling rug from his fellow students, Mrs Booth expressed the general regret of those present at ‘ losing Mr Magill, offering at; the same time best wishes for 'his future in the Royal Air Force. Mr Magill suitably responded. ‘ Community singing, solos by Mr ‘ Magill, Mr Haydn Liddy and Mr Wm. Whitehead and a duet by Mrs Booth iand Mr Magill were greatly apprel ciated. A delicious supper was served and the singing of Auld Lang Syne brought a happy function to a close.
