At a meeting of the Cambridge competitions Society executive it was de—cided that thls year‘s annual festival be | held from Monday to Friday, October 5 to 9, .1 week later than usual. .\lr .1. n. lmsteiu of Dunedin, was ap—pointed udjudicutor of the elocutionary sections. The programme was again revised and several classes deleted from each section in an endeavour to avoid the necessity of holding sections in the Parish Hall. classes held over are N.Z. IPoem. 16 and under 2!; children’s pluyette; song with obligate; song, girls 16 and under ‘2l; piano solo, 16 to 20; all \‘iolin classes. ‘
