The Te Arohu .\ludel Aeroplane Club have confined recent activities to their clubroom, and 15 models have been constructed. A letter was received from the Treasury Department regarding- the raising of it loan of £75,000 and stating that under Section M or the Finance Act the Board might obtain funds for any purpose for which the loan was authorised lrom the general account which would he re-hnhursed after the loan had been raised. Gazette notices relative to the consent or the Local Bodies Loans Board to the raising of the loan or £75,000 were also received. The Auckland Savings Bank wrote stating that a loan or 275,000 for a period or 25 years could not be granted but that an application fol-‘ll loan for a term or 20 years with interest at (H per cent. payable iialrl-ycarly would be favourably considerei .
