WAIPA UNION'S AFFAIRS. WEEKLY MEETING HELD. (Times‘ Representative). TE AWAMUTU, Tuesday. The weekly meeting of the VVaipa Rugby Union management committee was held last evening, Mr H. Worthington presiding. Mr G. Spinley notified his acceptance of om-ce as vice-president and forwarded a donation. A challenge for the Cucksey Cup. received from the Cambridge SubUnion, was referred to the Junior Advisory Board. An invitation from the Maniapoto Union {or the Waipa Union to send its Junior representatives to play at T 6 Kuiti on July 4 was also referred to the advisory board. The secretary reported that the New Zealand Union had adopted the remit from Waipa requiring clearances for players transferring from one club to another.
