TRADE AGREEMENT.

DINMARK AND BRITAIN. , COPENHAGEN. April 5. The Danish Foreign Ofilce announred to—day that the Anglo-Danish Trade Conversations. which were initiated in London in March, and re—sumed in Copenhagen, have resulted in an understanding. The conversations arose out of the operation of the Danish foreign exchange control, following the AngloDanlsh trade treaty, which expires on June 30. British traders had complained that the granting to Danish importers of licenses had operated so that. instead 0! the increase in the sales of British manufactures to Denmark which had been anticipated as a result of the trade treaty. the increase in British exports had been largely in raw materials coming originally from other countries. They also complained that Danish importers, wishing to buy British manufactured articles, such as piecegoods. clothing, boots and shoes, had been unable to obtain licenses.
