Martin. the injured player was removed to hospital where his condition is regarded as not serious. A fractured leg was received by Hugh Eastwood. aged 22. of Manawaru, in a football match at Te Arena on Saturday. He is reported to be making satisfactory progress. Injury to the knee in a football match at VVhaiawhata necessitated the removal to the Waikatn Hospital of Joseph Bishop. aged 2i. of \Vhatnwhata. llis condition is not serious. Through colliding with another player in a junior match at \Vhliikahu on Saturday. C. Broadley. a liuntly ‘player. received a severe scalp wound lwhich necessitated the insertion of several stitches. l __..__ .
