I HAMILTON SPORTS CLUB. | ‘ _._— ‘ B. SHAW'S GOOD WIN. ‘ Spectators at Hamilton East on i Saturday were treated to a fine display or cycle raging. when B. Shaw and W. \\'elsh fodght for first place in the race held by the Hamilton Amateur Sports Club. The honours went to B. Shaw, with \\'elsh second and V. Shaw third. A. Heady, who started ‘ul‘ the if: seconds mark. registered the fastest time with 55 minutes 23—35m—onds—«u very creditable performance with such a small handicap. The course, which was from the Hamilton East Post Office to the Eureka store and back. proved rather dlfilcult on the metalled portions.
