AN EMPIRE BHRINE.—-A view or the altar of the Warriors‘ Chapel in Westminster Abbey, the cost of which was borne by subscriptions from all parts of the British Empire. Situated close to the grave of the Unknown Warrior, the chapel is looked upon as an Empire Shrine for all those who lost relatives in the Great War. The Warriors‘ Chapel was the scene of the funeral of the late Field-Marshal Lord Allenby, conqueror of Palestine.
