WAIHOU STOCK SAL*. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report, that at their fortnightly stock sale in the Waihou saleyards yesterday all classes of cattle came forward in large numbers. Beef sold at rates above those ruling last sale and also in excess of central yards’ values. Heavy secondquality cows and boners were not as keenly competed for owing to reduced schedule rates. Sheep: These were penned in average numbers, and sold at late rates. Pigs: There was practically a full yarding of fat pigs, comprising mostly porkers.
