NEW SHIPPING COMPANY.
formed IN AUSTRALIA. FOR CANADIAN TRADE RUN United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright SYDNEY. May 22. A new shipping company, “ Montreal —Australia—New Zealand Line, Limited,” has been formed to acquire tlie service at present run by the Canadian National Steamships from Eastern Canada to Australian and New Zealand ports. There are at present nine freighters engaged in this service, but it is likely these ships will be supplemented when required and ultimately replaced by faster vessels. The new company lias been formed by the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line and tlie Ellerman and Buck nail Steamship Company. The head office will be in Sydney.
