The form of Gold Mission at Hawera was good and H. Dulleu’s representative will carry confident support. She won attractively on the first day!

their latest efforts have not been Impressive. Riccarton stables will be represented in Tooley. Street and he makes strong appeal. He won in hack class over the distance at Oamaru and since then won over seven furlongs and a mile at Riverton. Handily placed as he is with 7.7 he should carry the opposition along. Silver Briar races well fresh, but after her spell from racing she will have to be taken on trust. Princess Star’s form is more recent and on her second to Tonnerre at Avondale she must be oonoeded good prospects. True she stood lljtle chance with Tonnerre on thaf, occasion, but she beat the balance of the opposition i Just as decisively as Tonnerre ac- ! counted for her.
