INFORMATION WANTED. MINISTER’S QUESTIONNAIRE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The annual conference of Education Boards will be opened by tlie Minister of Education, tlie Hon. P. Fraser, who has submilted a number of matters on which lie desires an opinion, including tlie administration generally with speeial reference to tiie functions of hoards and otiier controlling bodies, the reorganisation of the system and the consolidation of tlie Act and regulations. Other matters are schoolbooks, scholarships, householder’s meetings, milk -supply, agricultural clubs, intermediate schools, manual training facilities, I lie raising of tlie school age, simplification of the scheme of teachers’ salaries and matters affecting teachers, including the staffing of schools, school committee allowances, school consolidation, post -primary conveyance, accidents lo children and teachers, road risks and safety, and Hie steps that can be taken lo obtain information about, and means of, dealing with children not receiving education.
