Notice is hereby given that at a special meeting ot fhe Waikato County Council held on the 21st day of April, 1936, the following resolutions by way of Special Orders were passed, and will be submitted for confirmation I at the ordinary meeting of the counj cil to be held on Wednesday, the 27th day of May, 1936, at 10 a.m., at the Council Chambers, Hamilton East : 1. Levying,' under section 7 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act 1934, a consolidated special rate on a differential basis for the several ridings of the County on the rateable. value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County, in lieu of certain special rates securing certain non-convertible securities issued in respect of loans raised by the Council. 2. Revoking certain special orders authorising the payment of interest, sinking fund and other charges on certain loans out of the General Account. 3. Deciding to pay the interest and other charges on loans payable to the Piako County Council in respect of areas transferred from the Piako County out of the Cambridge and Tamahere Riding Accounts. Copies of the proposed special orders are deposited at the office of the Waikato County Council, Hamilton, and are open to the inspection of the public during office hours for 21 days immediately preceding the said 27th day of May. 1936.
