JOLLY BEGGAR.
Jolly Beggar, winner of the Grand National Hurdles last year, was schooled at Te Rape yesterday and acquitted himself well out Jumping Grand Score In the deciding stages and finishing olear of his companion. Prior to comIng north he had been doing well In his work at Rlooarton and looks in nice order for engagements at Te Rlpl. His last appearance was on the flat at Riocarton when he ran third to Riptide and Execution in the Autumn Plate at Easter. With his pace on the fiat coupled with his proved Jumping and staying ability Jolly Beggar should take a lot of beating on Saturday In the Te Kultl Hurdles.
