_-——.-—————- ACCIDENTAL DEATH. - \\'HANGAREI, Wednesday. A Verdict of accidental death was returned by the Coroner in the case of 1112 death of Ellen Mary McKay (37), whose ankle-s were caught in a wire line which severed \\‘hile tow—ing a car on a local road. The Coroner said as far he could see there was no evidence of negligence on the part of the drivers of the cars, but the accident. raised the point. as to the wisdom of using a wire rope for towing purposes, as an ordinary rope became more or less “dead" after breaking.
