John Ambul—ance asked the union to appoint. a representatiw of its general committee and also soliritell financial assistance—Mr E. D. White was appointed. \\'ith a view to increasing interest in the union meetings. Mr A. \Vatson suggested that debates should Ihe stoned on suitable themes. The matter will he, further :considered at. the June meeting. . A report from a special committee set. up to consider the programme and date of the. proposed field day was read and adopted. It recommended that (at in the. morning. at. 10.30 r-L.'m., a demonstration on a Jersey cow be given, to be followed by a competition in judging cows. This to take place at Mr P.
