THIRD RE-UNION DANCE.
~+— COMBINED OLD TECHNIGALS. I HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. A genuine re—union spirit prevailed at the third annual combined re-uni-on dance of the Hamilton Technical College 'Olcl Pupils‘ Association 'held in the Srhool Assembly Hall last even—ing. The evening went, with a swingl from the commencement. and the function was a very bright and highly successful one. There was an at—tendance or about 400. many coming from far afield The hall had been transformed with a canopy of blue and white streamers, the colours of the association. and the stage was massed with greenery. The supper room looked delightful with pastel shaded lights and streamers overhead in pastel shades of primrose ‘pink and lavender. Bowls of Iceland .poppies and Chrysanthemums were arranged on the tables and a delicious supper was served by the Old Girls. Excellent music. was played by Dave} Shaw's Orchestra and novelty dancesl held during the evening added even further to the enjoyment of the func—tion. A tribute is due to the combined committees or the Old Girls‘ and Old Boys‘ Associations. wh-ose untirins ef—forts and enthusiasm made the' ra—union dance the most successful vet held. Mr and Mrs \\’. Fraser were host. and hostess. Mrs Fraser wearing a frock of iblack and rose pink floral georgette and black velvet coaiee. The president of the Old Girls’ As—sociation, Miss Gladys \\'alsh. was wearing a frock of pink georgette and black velvet cape.
