JOLLY DANCE.

HAPPY TIME SPENT. A very happy time was spent on Saturday evening when Miss Pat Peacocke entertained her friends at a dance at her home, “ Weston Lea.” The rooms were delightfully decorated with bowls of fern and chrysanthemums. Several competitions were held and a delicious supper was served. Mrs E. F. Peacocke received the guests wearing a charming frock of ebony lace and Miss Pat Peacocke was wearing blue and silver shot taffetas. Among those present were:—Mrs Norris Peacocke, wearing black tulle and saracen red coatee; Misses Joyce Peacocke, tartan crepe de chine; Cecil Gaze, blue ribbed crepe suede; Athalie Gaze, cherry floral romaine; Audrey Seddon, scarlet and white checked taffetas; Nancy Jenkinson, pink flowered crepe; Rosalie Seddon, coral net and cape; Eileen Wright, black ring velvet; Dorothy Chitty, bronze brocade; Leonie Swarbrick, blue chiffon; Margarent Johnstone, perriwinkle blue crepe-de-chine; Barbara Ghitty, apple green ninon; Beryl Prendergast, midnight blue moire; and Mollie Prendergast, sea green lame.
