Laws, who has accepted a position at the Whangarei Intermediate School. • * * * At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Y.M.C.A—A.W.C.A.. held on Monday evening, Miss k. Scotter, the Y.W.C.A. secretary in Hamilton, was granted one month s leave of absence on account of ill health. Miss M. Saunders, the girls work secretary of the Y.W.C.A. in Timaru, will take her place, arriving on May 23.
