PUTARURU ACTIVITIES., FORMATION OF CLASSES. (Special to Times.) PUTARURU, Tuesday. Following- on t'he formation in Putaniru or a branch or the St. John Ambulance Association a general committee mooting presentatlve attendance. It was decided to start mixed classes on .May 27, in nrst aid. Dr. G. C. MacDiarmld accepting the office or lecturer. It was agreed to make provision lor Junto* -.eniors’ to 1 he 7s 6d anti juniors '2s C»d lor a full set or lectures, including examination costs. A suggestion that ror the time being the branch should endeavour to help the. movement by enrolling honorary members at a lee or 2a Cd was approved. Mr A. Vette. or Arapuni, generously in l'utarurii. An executive ■•onimittee was elected consisting of .Mesdaines ii. 8. Wr: flit man and Hooper. Hr .1. Hamilton ai'hlleld). and Dr. MarDiarmhl. •Mr 1.. Emerson, of the Hamilton Division, gave his services at football matches recently. and during the week-end three qualified men were on duly at the Rugby mulch. As there are eight qualilled officers in the district it is hoped lo form a division or the Association.
