The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WalkatoThnmes Valley Is as follows: Forecast: Light to moderate variable winds with northerlies predominating. Weather fair to fine and mild. Seas slight. General Inference: An anticyclone extends across the north Tasman sea and the North Island, but a westerly depression is advancing across the south Tasman.
