MENTAL HOSPITAL ESCAPE. NEGLIGENT DRIVING CHARGE. NAPIER, Monday. I The Supreme Court, session ’was opened before Mr Justice Meed to-day. One accused, Sullivan, was charged with robbery with violence, it was reported that ho had escaped from a mental institution and is still at large. The Grand Jury returned True Bills in all cases. Moss Wylie was charged with negligently driving a motor-car so as to cause death. It was alleged that Wylie’s car met. and struck a lighter car and pushed it back 60 feet through a fence, killing Arthur Gordon Perry, of Wellington, and injuring three other occupants. The accident took place near Napier on April 11 last.
