Lloyd’s agents throughout the world have been instructed to keep a lookout for a North Sea trawler, Girl Pat, which the Admiralty will declare h pirate if It Is proved that the master and crew of four seized her. In that case it would be the duty of tho*e on hoard every Rhlp flying the British flag lo assist in apprehending her. The trawler is equipped wilh the latest type of Diesel engines. Sho left Dover on April 4 and put in at Corcublon, Spain, on April 12. Nine days later, after extensive repairs had been effected, she left, her master not stating her destination. The owners of the trawler, the Marstand Fishing Company, notified the underwriters on April 27 that tliev regarded the ship as a total loss. They explained that they engaged a master a few months ago. who picked his own crew with tlie exception of the engineer, whom he left at Dover. Extensive inquiries have revealed no trace of the Girl Pat. The owners now state that they have come to the conclusion that the master, George Black nsborne, and crew may have made off with the vessel.
