BRITISH CABINET.

RUMOURED RECONSTRUCTION

VISCOUNT MONSELL S RETIREMENT SUCCEEDED BY SIR S. HOARE. LONDON, May 16. Any speculation about the reconstruction of the Cabinet as a sequel to the alleged leakage of Budget news is considered to be premature, especially as the tribunal is slill lilting and will not give an early decision, but will report to the Cabinet. The only change at present anticipated will be due to Viscount Monsell'* retirement from the office of First Lord of the Admiralty, which is expected about Whitsuntide. Sir Samuel lloare will probably succeed him.
