HAMILTON SPORTB CLUB’B EVENT. WIN FOR V. SHAW. Starting from Banks* Corner the Hamilton Amateur Sports Club held ils weekly road race on Saturday. The course, which covered a distance of 12 miles, returned to the starting point and finished at the Hamilton East Post Office. V. Shaw, who benefited from a handicap of 7min. 30secs., was first, his time being 52mln. 22secs. H. Llddlngton, off 3mln. 45secs., claimed second place as well as annexing fastest time, with 48min. 59 secs. B. Latta was third.
