WAIRERE BOARD’S PROFIT. , PROPOSED EXTENSION LOAN. TE KUITI, Saturday. Details of a loan for future extensions and strengthening of the lines were submitted to the annual meeting of the Wairere Electric-Power Board. The matter is now before the Loans Board. A net profit of £2OO on the year’s working was disclosed, while the trading account showed a loss of £34. Reference was made to the death by electrocution of Mr F. 11. Harvey, the board’s engineer. Mr IV Boddy paid a tribute to the late engineer, who had spent many years of unremitting work in the board's interests. Mr Boddy was re-elected chairman.
