BUTTERFAT PAYMENTS. 'V RETURNS FOR APRIL. COMPARISON WITH MARCH. A feature of the dairy company advanoe payments for April supplies Is that the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Company will pay suppliers to cheese factories 1® per lb. for first grade butterfat for oheese making, the highest payout for some seasons. ' The last occasion when Is per lb. was paid out as an average was in the 1931-32 season, although last September Is was paid out for the one month’s supplies. For finest duality butterfat for butter manufacture, the company will pay out 10 id per lb. This payment is free of share credits. For March the company made a payment of llid lor butterfat for cheese manufacture and lOd for buterfat for butter manufacture. Morrinsville Company. The payment to be made by the Company for April supplies of butterfat for butter manufacture will represent an advance of id over that paid out for March supplies, 10id per lb. butterfat being paid us against lOd the previous month. For April of last year the company paid bid. Norfolk and Sunny Park. The directors of the Norfolk Cooperative Dairy Company have announced that the pay-out for April supplies of butterfat for cheese manufacture will be 10id. For the corresponding period last season a puy-oul of 9d was made, while for March supplies the company paid 10 id. A payment of lid for butterfat foi cheese making will be made by the irunny Park Co-operative Dairy Company with a payment of 10id per lbbutterfat for butter manufacture. A payment of 9d per lb. butterfat was made by the company for the corresponding period last year, while for March supplies this season the company paid lid for butterfat for cheeso manufacture and 9id for butterrut for butter manufacture. Hlnuera and Tokoroa. An advance payment of lOd for finest grade butterfat for butter manufacture will be made by the Hinuera Co-operative Dairy Company, the same as last month. The payment for April last year was Bd. The payment for butterfat for cheese manufacture to be advanced by the Tokoroa Co-operative Dairy Company will be 10id as against 8d for the same month last season. The payment last month was lid. Waikato Valley Company. A payment of 10id for butterfat for butter manufacture will also be made by the Waikato Valley Dairy Company. For March supplies the company also paid out 10id. Te Aroha and Raglan. Suppliers to the Te Aroha-Thames Valley Co-operative Company will receive a payment of lOd per lb. buttert fat for butter manufacture supplied during April. For the corresponding month last season the company paid out Bid per lb., while for March this season a pay-out of lOd was made. The Directors of the Raglan Cooperative Dairy Company have announced that suppliers will receive a payment of 10id per lb. butterfat for butter manufacture. CAMBRIDGE COMPANY. CHEESE llid, BUTTER 10id. The Cambridge Co-operative Dairy Company will make an advance payment on April supply of £’10.391 at the rate of llid lb. on butterfat lor cheese and 10id lb. for butter. The season’s pay-out to date is £192,718 compared with £148,549 for the same period last year. The April pay-out in 1935 was £12,172 at the rate of 9d lb. for cheese and Bid for butter.
