POORER QUALITY.
---—h STOCK AT MORRINSVILLE. GOOD PRICE FOR BACONERS. (By Telegraph—Special Reporter.) MORRINSVILLE. Friday. Lighter yardings were forward in all sections at. the stock sale at Morrinsrille today. A feature of the sale was the lack of quality among the majority of entries. Price changes generally moved in favour of buyers. The beef entry was the plainest seen at the yards this season, the offering comprising only dairy sorts. The demand was fairly steady but late rates were maintained with dimculty. No prime sorts were penned and in the average fat sheep offering the value was unaltered for a small entry.
Welhers, while poorer in quality, comprised a heavy yardlng. Lambs retained competition and values were a shade easier. Poor demand was, shown for all classes of store sheep and few sales were effected. Baconers were slightly firmer and prices reached 593. the best figure obtained in the “‘alkalo this season followlng the drop in the porker schedule. Porkers were dullrr of sale and traded at rerlnrml prices. Quotations: Light. tn deium fat rrms, £3 1.3» to £5; lighf, £2 65 to £3
