STATUS OF ETHIOPIA. THE ATTITUDE OF BRITAIN. LONDON, May 14. The Prime Minister was asked in the House of Commons if the Government rogarded Ethiopia as possessing full independence, una, •f not, in whom it. regarded the sovereignty of Ethiopian territory wa o vested. The Home Secretary, replying for Mr Baldwin, said the only change which His Majesty’s Government had so far recognised in the status of Ethiopia was that a large part of the kingdom was under Italian military ETHIOPIAN CHURCH. CO-OPERATION WITH ITALY. ADDIS ABABA, May 14. Abuna Kyriloff, Egyptian head of the Ethiopian Church, informed Marshal Badoglio of its fuM adherence and cooperation.
